Health Care Funding Advice
At Conval-Aid, we believe that quality should be accessible to everyone. Products purchased through us may be eligible for up to 75% funding through Ontario’s Assistive Devices (ADP) program. Rental equipment may be offered while you wait for ADP approval.
To determine whether you qualify for funding, an ADP-authorized Occupational Therapist is required to complete a seating and mobility assessment. The therapist will request an equipment trial to determine the proper equipment sizing and seating components that will best meet your needs. This is usually done at the location that is most convenient for everyone.
Once the assessment process is complete and the funding application has been made, you may elect to order your new equipment, or rent a suitable piece until the funding is confirmed. Some paid rental may be applied to the purchase price.
If you qualify for subsidiary funding, Conval-Aid can invoice directly to the appropriate reimbursement source. These sources include:
Veterans Affairs (DVA)
Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)
Ontario Disability Support Program Canadian Mortgage & Housing Corporation (CMHC)
Social Services
Ontario Assistive Devices Program
